Hadn't seen these new threads; very nice to read all these positive reactions on the game. Interestingly enough, I see fewer and fewer newcomers mentioning the font, interface and art style (at least in a negative way). The vast majority of posters focus on the game's challenging combat, enemy AI and other core gameplay elements, so at the very least the patches and upgrades since KotC was released seem to have made a real difference...

Brought game couple days ago and completely hooked by it. Deep tactical component with easy learning and almost perfect interface. Nice "old-school" look and feel - i love it. Without doubt it's best realization tactical battles i've ever seen in D&D CRPG. Need to say 15£ large enough price to me, but this game worths every penny (kopeika) i've spend. Thanks a lot for wonderful and addictive game, Pierre!

ps Sorry for my english

Thank you for your post, zerrr!

In coming days there will be another update adding Turn Undead and fixing a bunch of issues. I couldn't release it this week-end due to Turn Undead being a bigger chunk than I was expecting.

The Rampant Coyote has posted an impressive selection of no fewer than 16 great tips on how to make it through the game in one piece. Should come in handy for newcomers who still suffer from traumatic memories of the infamous lich in the demo... ;)

The RPG Codex has a thread taking votes for RPG of the year. KotC is currently in second place behind Dragon Age and just ahead of Risen. There are plenty of positive comments and Codex bickering.

KotC has received GameBanshee's Independent Game of the Year 2009 award.

Also, KotC was reviewed in Serbian games magazine Svet Kompjutera in the February 2010 issue; here is an online link.

KotC was mentioned at RPG Codex in their review of 2009, along with many other games.
