Wrong Size Category

Is there any way to use a weapon that is the wrong size category? I just beat that big ol' Balor with the Deathblade and almost cried when I couldn't equip it.

Sure, that's what the spell 'Reduce Weapon' is for.

Oooohhhhh..... Wizard spell I assume. Where do I get it? Just hope for a scroll in a shop? I don't want to sacrifice a chosen spell during level up...

I think you can buy it somewhere, but I don't remember where. Yes it's a wizard spell.
