About development

Hello BlueSalamander and forum, I'm faux pas:ing by starting a thread as my first post and I'm sorry for that.

I'm wondering about how you develop the game. What programming language are you using? Which programs do you use? How did you get started?
Just generally interested in the process although I have a limited understanding of it. Would appreciate any answers you care to give.

Hello Gargarath and welcome!

Do you mean KotC or KotC 2? In both cases the programming language is C++ and the tool is Microsoft Visual Studio.
KotC uses DirectX and Windows programming. KotC 2 and BotS use SFML and OpenGL.

I've got started by reading Sams Teach Yourself Game Programming in 24 Hours at Waterstones.
Though I had some experience programming with Turbo Pascal and Basic from before.
Another good book is Programming Role Playing Games with DirectX.

Allright, thanks! Answered all of my questions.
Notification on the thread went to my junk mail so didn't see your answer before now.
