Maybe he should consider letting someone at his editor? Kind of like Bioware and Obsidion (or Bethesda and Obsidion now with New Vegas).

Anyway, I can appreciate it is probably not a polished editor/creator and hed get swamped with questions if he just mass released, but maybe if he had just one person who was a real die hard he could make it work?
