How do quick weapons function in the off hand? Do they give an extra main hand attack? What happens if you have one in both hands?

Weapons with the 'quick' enchantment held in the off-hand give you an extra attack with the off-hand.
If you have one in both hands, you get an extra attack with both hands, just as if you were Hasted.

I didn't realize Haste gives an extra main hand and off hand attack in the game. I don't believe it does in the 3.5 SRD.
