Why can't I move through Allied Spaces?

Hasn't it always been a rule that allies can move through each other's spaces? They're supposed to be 5 ft. squares... and you're telling me there's no room for an ally to move past? Fighting in small spaces is enraging!

Hiya, you can't do that in KotC 1 because it's a simpler design. However, you can move through squares occupied by allies in KotC 2.
