Game suggestions in the line of KOTC?

I bought and played KOTC a while back, and really enjoyed it. Recently, something made me remember it so I came to see if the developer had made sequel, or other games.

Anyone have any recommendations of games I should check out?

Here are some interesting games you could try: Helherron, ADOM, Swords and Sorcery Underworld, and Dark Sun Shattered Lands on Dosbox.
