Does Stephen King like D&D? Having watched the film adaptation of The Mist (a good film, by the way) my answer is yes. Here is the proof.

A creature of The Mist compared to the Monster Manual's Bebilith.

A creature of The Mist compared to the Monster Manual's Chuul.

A creature of The Mist compared to the Monster Manual's Retriever.

I found this film amusing too... quite a harsh ending I thought... Good to see something different happen...

Interesting thing about monster creation in all films is that there must be a limited amount of forms that the human mind can come up with, so basically here you have a spider, a lobster and a ant/locust/general six legged insect type affair...

Basically saying there is bound to be some sort of repetition of ideas between mediums as human imagination is limited.

Having said that, S King could well be a D n D fan, sounds like his sort of thing.
