Hi,

Related to viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1010&p=6493#p6493

I'm currently "level up"-ing a samourai half giant.

The HP roll says 11.
It showed only:
Constitution modifier +03
Total (...) +11

I wanted to make a screenshot, so i put the game in windowed game.
Obviously I had to cancel the level up to acces the option menu.

Re-level up = +13
I'm checking how and it says:

So i don't know if the issue was with "+8" in the roll, or with the full screen mode...

Edit:
two other level ups done:
1st is okay in full screen mode.
2d is not : a fighter got a +13 hp with only a +4 modifier.


I'm wondering: can the bug be related to the option "reroll HP dice" which i have seen in the options? maybe when the first roll is not enough, the "reroll" dice is not shown in the calculation. In my game i have the "reroll under 50% HP level up roll" activated.
OS: windows 10, 64bits, family edition.

Playing KOTC steam version since march 2022.

2d is not : a fighter got a +13 hp with only a +4 modifier.
Why is that a bug, though? The fighter must have rolled 9 from his D10 to obtain +13 HP.

maybe when the first roll is not enough, the "reroll" dice is not shown in the calculation.
The rerolls are never displayed. Cheers 8-)

Well the bug was:

I have one modifier: +4
and the total is 13.

That means a "9" is missing, the reroll.

Since you just said it's never displayed, then it's the reason. A bit curious but if you never show it... i guess it's WAD (even if i find it wrong to have: 4 = 13).

Ahhh, okay, I understand. My apologies, I got confused. I thought that the issue was with the calculation, not with the display.

So I was able to reproduce the issue. The line indicating the HP die roll disappears if you open the list of modifiers after setting the ability-score increase (or selecting feats or spells).

I've just fixed it for version 1.17. Thank you for the bug report! :)

P.S. What does WAD mean? :D

WAD is something i read on the europa universalis 4 official (bug report) forums from paradox: "working as designed"
