trip can be done on gargantuans as manoeuver for AoO

Hi,

Trip is not possible actively as a swift or normal action during a PC turn.

But if trip+attack is the AoO option selected, it will be done.

See this screenshot where m§ fighters trips the big 4x4 gargantuan red dragon in the entrance of Castle chapter 4:
