Bug, help!!

When going into chamber or first level where sacrifice is if i choose any option other than option 1 the game crashes and i get this message

Also the game seems to crash at random intervals or i think maybe when it plays a certain sound (which may be the problem above also), any ideas how to fix?

I will see if i can update my mobo drivers but is old maybe thats the problem and i did install dx as recommended by Pierre, other than that works ok, final fight is hard havent wont it yet though
