Script text export and import function to expand dialogue script.

Hello,

could you please briefly in layman's terms explain how to do this.

Lets say I create some dialogue script in Module Editor, generate .txt file and what then?

What AI to use (coding AI maybe) and how is it done technically? What instruction to give to AI?

Additional question.

Is there any upper limit to number of .png files contained in CretureSprites folder (the one located inside custom module)?

It seems that if I stick there too many files, the game crashes everytime I try to create character or change avatar picture in ongoing game.

I have them currently 2724 and it crashes everytime I try to create a new character or change avi of existing one.

It works fine when I have abour 1300 of them.

Is there any solution to this? Please tell me it's easy fix.

Hello Zent! Thank you for posting.

The AIs you can use are ChatGPT, Claude.AI, Grok, DeepSeek and others.

With ChatGPT you won't be limited in the size of your conversation.

You would attach the txt file to your prompt and ask ChatGPT: << I'm attaching the conversation script for the goblin king in my adventure module. Expand the script to include the text of the replies of the king according to each of the possible dialogue choices of the player >>

It will output a revised script which you can then import into the Module Editor.

At least, that's the idea. It may be better just to ask the AI for help writing the dialogue choices and replies.

There isn't any hard-coded limit on the number of png files in the folder.

It may not be the number of files that's causing the crash; perhaps there's a problem with one of the files (e.g. a file name that's too long).

Please compress the pngs and send them to me at enquiries@heroicfantasygames.com using WeTransfer, so I can have a look at what's going on?
