Level Drain? [Solved by xalles + Perception Roll]

I have used the Cleric spell Restore Negative Levels before and it has worked fine, but now I can't seem to get my Mage up from lvl 19 to 20 (the drain was caused by a weapon attack, more specifically the Blight Dagger). Have tried resting, casting the spell again and resting afterwards, but nothing seems to work. Could this be a bug, or is there's something I'm missing here?

Could you post the save game please, or send it to enquiries@heroicfantasygames.com? (the folder number should be equal to the number displayed in the load screen)

Is it that the mage is wearing a weapon that opposes his alignment? For instance, a chaotic guy wearing an Axiomatic weapon will lose one level while it's equipped. Anarchic, Holy, and Unholy can cause this too. (Well I guess not Holy since your guys can't be evil.)

Thanks, xalles, it really was as simple as that. The mysterious "Blight Dagger" in question was the one I was actually having equipped. No wonder I couldn't remember having been level drained by any enemies recently...
