I just noticed - one of my Knights has Point Blank Shot by now, I let him attack melee and after let's say the first 2 strikes with the sword he suddenly decides to shoot with the bow instead... annoying.

If you have Toughness because you're Mul, Toughness is still available at level-up.

New font is good, but in Load or Save dialogue there is still the old font used.

another question: does protection vs good also protect from mind affecting spells cast by neutral characters?

According to the rules, you can take Toughness a whole bunch of times for +3 max HP each time (if you're crazy :lol:). IMHO Toughness should be a bit stronger to be worth a feat at all (e.g. NWN-style: +1 hp/level). Although I do still like muls for the strength.
What's with people who answer their own questions? I guess they're just stupid.

I'd rather have the new font in the combat rolls window too, and in the box that lists the savegames.

Protection vs Evil makes you immune to domination attempts from all enemies.

Re/ the attack bug, please download v1.11.

So the fight at the castle of the Knights (after end of the game) was a bit extreme, huh? It took me 6-7 hours to finally win.

OK, I know this may be regarded as heresy here, but I am going to make a request regarding the graphics...

I understand the that because you're a small development studio that concessions were made in the graphics dept. to limit them to 320x240. Before anyone resorts to calling me a graphics whore, I have played the demo I love the gameplay of KotC, and found the experience enjoyable.

That said, I was wondering if you have considered allowing the user the option to apply an hq2x or hq3x filter to the graphics. Here is a link for those who don't know what I'm talking about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_art_scaling_algorithms

Have you tried using one of these filters yet? If so, how did it look?

Regardless of if you ever implement an hqnx filter or not, I will get around to buying this game sometime. However, as university starts again for me again in less than 2 days now, I'm not sure how bad my work load will be just yet (senior year for a science degree). Hopefully, my work load won't be that bad so I can buy KotC soon and have some old school cRPG goodness on the weekends without affecting my studies too much.

In fact, DirectX gives the developer filtering by default. It wasn't easy to remove it. I don't like it, it takes something away from the pixel-artist's work.

No problem.

Since this filtering is there by default, would it be difficult to somehow reintroduce it as an option to the user? That way, people could try out the filter for themselves, see if they like it or not, and then set it the option toggle accordingly.
