Okay, I think I'm stuck; Can anyone Help?

So I finally made it into the Hill giant fortress after wandering around for forever wondering how to get in, but now I'm just stuck again! I've cleared out the entirety of the fortress, all three levels of it, but I cannot find the "Clue" to the Frost Giant's location. What am I missing? Was there a secret room I missed or has my game glitched?
