battle music

first, I'll state the obvious, the combat in Knights of the Chalice is really awesome. its very "addictive" but in a much more wholesome way than a loot-obsessed hack and slasher like Diablo, or a soul-draining monotonous MMORPG grind-fest.

so, I understand from reading other threads here that there won't be an expansion or many further changes to the game. but I was wondering if there's any way to add a little variety to the combat music. if I'm not mistaken, there's only one battle theme in the game. and its a good song, just like the rest of the soundtrack, but we hear it so many times in a row, throughout the whole game. Knights of the Chalice is such a combat-focused RPG... I think optimally it should at least have two or three combat themes total. it would be fantastic if the person who made the KotC soundtrack could make one or two new battle themes. but if thats not possible, perhaps there's a straightforward way for us to modify the files, adding in another few midi songs we have on hand? if this were possible, IMO it would add a lot to the experience of playing the game.

Hello ukozo, thanks for your post, great avatar pic! I can suggest two things:
1) turn off battle music in the options. You'll get map music instead, or
2) swap the midi file with another midi music of your own.
