While I was waiting for advice,I wandered,building exp for crafting.

Now I've gone back,I can get in,I fight the ghouls but the green dragon etc. isn't there and the wall's closed!

I've copied and printed your advice and will use it next time.

PS I've kept all my saves so if it's fixable I can go back.

Mm, you can use Irresistible Dance repeatedly to stop the dragon. Also, it's okay if your cleric dies as long as the other characters can manage to finish the battle.
You can have the cleric raised by NPC clerics afterwards.

Mm, the walls are closed so maybe you have to talk to the Duke to trigger the whole sequence. If you want, zip the saved game and attach it here or email it to enquiries@heroicfantasygames.com and I'll have a look.

Lurking Grue was wondering about KotC 2. In fact, at the moment I'm dividing my free time between
1) coding the KotC 2 character creation, 2) adding graphical and audio assets to my RTS Battle of the Sands, and 3) playing Planescape Torment.

I'm still enjoying my replay but I want to move on quickly now spring's on it's way.
